Web2Labs respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to send a copyright infringement notification and a counter-notification under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

1. DMCA notification of claimed infringement

To submit a DMCA notice, send an email to [email protected] including all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL, screenshot, project ID) for us to locate it.
4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Misrepresenting that material is infringing can subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

2. DMCA counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error or the use was authorized, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] including:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Web2Labs may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original notifier.

Under § 512(g), a compliant counter-notification is forwarded to the original notifier. Where that procedure applies, the removed material is restored between 10 and 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification, unless the designated agent receives notice that the original notifier has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. A counter-notification therefore includes information that will be shared with the original notifier; it is not a private complaint to Web2Labs.

4. Repeat infringer policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
